Owner’s Engineer Support

We Are Trusted With Our Client's Most Delicate Issues

Hired to provide a functional specification for the process plant associated with a novel new process to extract shale oil, REDD personnel were then entrusted to provide owner’s engineering support in the developing of the process.

The US Geological Survey estimates that, if fully exploited, there is enough oil shale in the Uintah Basin to yield 1.32 trillion barrels of oil.

Owner's Engineer Support

After hearing of our successful support of Crown Asphalt Oil Sands project, Redleaf Resources hired REDD personnel to assist them in determining how to take the liquids and gases coming from their Commercial Demonstration Unit and meet industry fuel specifications.

After determining an approach that satisfied Redleaf and their partner, Total Engineering, REDD personnel were part of the Owner’s Engineering group that coordinated with Worley Parsons to produce a Schedule A design package. Two members of the group, including one from REDD, worked in Worley’s office in California during the nearly two year effort.

REDD personnel were also part of the team tasked with communicating progress to Redleaf and their partners quarterly, this required both a firm technical understanding and ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audience members.
